Steam Deflector LB2015-5
The deflector is used to reverse the direction that the steam blast takes along the outside of the bell after passing the mouth. On an exposed whistle with the steam flowing in a downward direction, this get the steam to blast upwards after hitting the mouth instead of continuing downwards.
The deflector is designed to be a slip fit on the standard 3/16 bell tubing. It may require soldering or other fastening methods to keep it in the position required by the application. It should fit correctly at the mouth end of a straight pipe whistle (LB-2018) between the mouth and mounting wire protrusion if required.
